American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery

The ‘American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery’ is an educational society with about 10,000 members. Its objective is to ensure the growth of science of ophthalmic surgery and the knowledge and skills of doctors working in this area. The society also provides education to clinicians and practitioners by working with patients and the medical community. It was founded in 1974 and since then has contributed through major advances in the field of eye surgery and eye treatments.
