Rob was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of five. During the 32 years since then, he’s experienced many changes in seizure pattern and severity.
Techie minded Rob O’ Keefe hopes that one day epilepsy research will find a cure for the seizures that have been a part of his life since the age of five. In the meantime, he uses the phone app he developed with us to monitor his seizures and medication.
He explains: “My seizures have never been fully controlled. For the last 20 years, I have only experienced nocturnal seizures. Once they had settled into this pattern, I was able to apply for my driving licence and I am now the proud owner of a Yamaha R6 motorbike!”
