Standard Guidelines for Circular Stapled Haemorrhoidectomy

This is an evidence-based guideline that provides instructions on the use, safety and efficacy of circular stapled haemorrhoidectomy. There is enough evidence to support use of the procedure. The procedure of circular stapled haemorrhoidectomy is used for internal hemorrhoids. A stapler is used in the procedure to remove an annulus of rectal mucosa above the haemorrhoids to cut blood supply to the hemorrhoids.
