Pregnancy is exciting and beautiful, but it also comes with swollen ankles, backache, and days where putting on socks feels like a workout. If you’re pregnant and feeling a bit uncomfortable, you’re definitely not alone. The good news is there are some easy things you can do to feel better, even if it’s just a little bit at a time.
Try a body pillow
Let’s start with sleep. It gets harder the further along you get. A proper body pillow can really help. Look for one that supports your bump, knees, and back all at once. You want something you can snuggle into and feel supported from all sides. It won’t fix everything, but it might help you fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer.
Move gently every day
It doesn’t have to be anything intense. A short walk, a few stretches, or some gentle pregnancy yoga can go a long way. It helps with circulation and can stop everything from feeling so stiff.
